In the latest blog TX Credit Repair experts at Impeccable Credit Services explain on if store sales around the holidays are actually worth the spend.
Is It Worth the Sale?
Holiday sales are great for last minute shoppers and gifts for the holidays. The question is if they are worth it? Black Friday sales seem to come earlier each and every year. The sales start early but end on Giving Tuesday. The reason behind this is to enforce consumers to shop more and spend more with the incentives to shop. Sales are usually preprepared based off of the companies projected sales. If you see something at the beginning of the month that you need to have, just wait. By the end of each month those items do go on sale. Typically 20-30% at the end of the month and month 2 closeout 40-60% off the original purchase price. The published sales are actually similar to the regular monthly sales EXCEPT it is usually 20-40% off of the entire store. This is all general information about most retailers. If you see something in clearance buy it since it is probably one of its kind.
Be Prepared
You do not have to drop too much for the holidays if you plan accordingly or prepare throughout the year. If you buy when you can while saving along the way you can make it a Christmas bigger and better than the year before for the same price. If you are wanting to save, and put things on credit for points and pay it down before the 0% offer is up that is another great option. Prepare to spend, but know when to save. Also if you want this luxury of 0% you may want to look into credit repair.
