Is you income reported on your credit?
The short answer is no. Your income does not appear on your credit report. Often times, employers may pull credit but they do not put salary information on your credit report. Credit reports are not used to determine or salary or income. They just have current outstanding debts along with loans that are reporting to the credit bureaus. Credit reports are used to help loan officers determine lending based off of credit history. Income is not reported on your credit report anywhere.
What is on your Credit Report
Items listed on the credit report include; payment history, along with identification information. In addition, accounts that have been paid off may also appear on the credit reports. The information is compiled with positive and negative remarks. It makes up the credit score within each individual credit bureau. If you have questions regarding your credit report consider contacting a credit professional.
