A credit repair company should be transparent with what they can realistically accomplish for a client. A client should go into credit repair understanding that it is a process and takes time. Credit does not take two month to destroy and it does not get repaired within two months. Make a plan in order to fix your credit within a proper timeline. If you give yourself time and follow the process you will be more successful. Rather than if you tried to crunch it into an unrealistic timeframe. Any credit repair company that tries to tell you your credit can be fixed completely in 30 days or less is just trying to get a sale. There is no way with the laws and process to boost your credit and get negative items removed with that window of time.
What Is A Realistic Timeline?
A realistic timeline for credit repair depends on the amount of points you would like to achieve along with what kind of negative items you may have on your credit. Typically if you need 30-50 points, we suggest it would take about 6 months of service. If you need to achieve 50-200 points, we suggest 12 months of service. Make sure that the credit repair company you choose is able to go off of real credit scores. This does not include Credit Karma, or any other third party consumer sites. These sites can be anywhere from 20-200 points higher or lower.Make sure you make a plan with your credit repair company, and stick with it. If you start credit repair you should not expect to be buying a house or car while in the program. Trust the process for the best rates and results.
